Creating fun, authentic and heartfelt ceremonies that truly reflect who you are.
Your day is all about you.
All about love, your way.
Hi there! I'm Katie-Sue, and my passion and mission is to create a day that represents
love, your way.
I am a completely inclusive celebrant, and believe that love is love.
Everyone has the right to marry who they love, no matter race, religion, identification or preference.
I am happy to create the ceremony you want. If you like the simple things and want to keep it short, we can get you to your party fast. Or if you prefer to savour the moment, and have a little extra time to express your love, your way, then we can do that too.
I am an experienced celebrant, MC, musician and performer and have spent the last 30 years creating and performing at wedding ceremonies, delivering memorable moments for everyone to experience.
I am based on the Central Coast of NSW and am happy to travel anywhere to help you seal the deal and marry your soul mate. I am authorised to create and perform marriage ceremonies, anywhere in Australia, for those who can legally marry.
You will find everything you need on my site to help you get started, including the processes of marriage, and all the legal stuff. If you prefer to be guided through the process, just get in touch and we can have a chat to kickstart your exciting day.

The most basic of ceremonies, with only the legal words, the paperwork, and a few signatures. All you need is yourselves and two witnesses.
Your elopement ceremony doesn't always needs to be simple. Whether your ideas are big or small, extravagant or simple, we will create something suitably amazing, and keep it just between you and me, and another two folks (witnesses of your choosing).
I love weddings! Traditional with all the trimmings or completely left of centre - I love them all. Being given the honour to create something that is unique to you, and to share what is YOUR love story, YOUR way, is what I love most. Let's customise something that you will be talking about for years to come.
The first step is a complimentary catch up, either face to face or via video chat, to understand a little more about each other. I will talk you through the process, prices and how I will support you, and you can tell me all about your dreams for your day.
If you feel that we are right for each other, we can lock it in. We will start to dig a little deeper about the two of you, your dreams for the future and for each other, and also sign some legal stuff.
I will provide you with some homework to complete, that will get you both thinking about what you want to say on your wedding day, and how you would like your story represented. I will then take the time to create a personalised and heartfelt ceremony that perfectly reflects love, your way.
In the 2 weeks prior to your ceremony date, we will catch up to confirm all the details and lock in any last minute changes. It is also good to do a rehearsal at this stage, if that's your thing. This gives you plenty of time to chill before the big day.
On your wedding day, I will be available for you should anything change, or should we need to manage an unplanned events. I will be standing with you and beside you, to ensure a beautiful, smooth and memorable ceremony, for you and your guests.
Prior to the ceremony
A Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) needs to be completed between 18 months to 1 month prior to your ceremony. These can be filled out when we catch up face to face. Therefore, you will need to bring original (not copies) forms of the following ID:
The Day before the ceremony
A Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage (DNLIM) will need to be completed just prior to your ceremony. This can be done the day before the ceremony, or as close to the date of the ceremony as possible. This is to ensure that no changes to the legal status of your impending marriage have changed since signing the NOIM, and your wedding day.
During the ceremony
There are specific legal words and sentences that must be said by me during the ceremony. These will be masterfully woven into the ceremony so they feel like they were always meant to be there.
There are also some legal words that you must both say to each other - I will happily guide you through the process of weaving these beautifully into your vows.
During the ceremony, we will sign two Certificates of Marriage (one for me and one for the registrar), and one commemorative marriage certificate for you to keep.
Post Ceremony
After the ceremony, I will organise for your Certificate of Marriage to be sent to the department of Births, Deaths & Marriages within 14 days of your wedding.
